As far as I'm concerned, airsoft is larp. Yes, we would have hot guns during the game. I'm currently creating a bunch of set pieces and props for my home haunt and a convention I run. There is a slight chance that this event might happen in late spring 2016. Not sure yet. To do things properly, it takes time, money and creativity. I want this to be the best game experience it can be.

So is this Black Aurora or something else?

Whisper, sounds intense. Can you give us some idea on what you are trying to incorporate into your games? I am eager to know .
PS: Fallout 4's Pip-boy is smartphone friendly!

Right now, it looks like my convention will consume most of my time and efforts. The plus side... When I'm done this event, I should have plenty of props to add production value to an airsoft post-apo themed event.

Hey guys, has this event been canceled or is it tentatively still going on? I have never fully committed in to air soft but for an event like this is would totally jump on board (use to be big in to paintball then shifted to real steel, but I miss the game).
There are a few of us building up post apocalyptic costumes for a big event in October but it would be a blast to "field test" them. |

I take it from the lack of posting your right. That's unfortunate. I feel like Airsoft Canada use to be much more active years ago? There does not seem to be much new going on? Of course it is the end of the season.

I just finished my post-apocalyptic themed convention on the weekend, which consumed a ridiculous amount of time and energy. My biggest concern is ensuring a game like this presents as a realistic, dark, gritty aesthetic. I'm not looking to create a "LARPy" style event in the woods with a bunch of yahoo's. I'm looking to create something immersive, scary, realistic, dirty. I also don't want to lose any money... like I just did on the past weekend!!

Whisper, do you have a website to your convention? I'm in guelph and would love to get involved with some thing like this. PS. Mad max owned at the oscars last night!

Hey Whisper, post some photos of your events. Visual appeals!
